    F1 Monaco Grand Prix - Sunday May 27th 09-10 EST

    Just a reminder to anyone who bets on practice sessions that Monaco has practices on Thursday rather than the traditional Friday sessions that are held elsewhere. It's tough to spot a lot of betting value. This is a track where outsiders have generally had more success at, (not in wins but in top 6 and top 3 results). It's hard to look beyond Hamilton, Vettel, or Ricciardo for the win here. Bottas, Verstappen, and Räikkönen have had very mixed fortunes at this venue. If you're looking for a top 3 or top 6 outsider then the 2 drivers who best fit the bill from a historical perspective are Perez and Sainz.

    Ricciardo +120 for a top 3 finish is 1 of the best looking bets on the board. Most European books have him in - territory for a podium. +400 for the win looks a bit short. A few books have him at +450, and they're working to a 117% profit margin on the event.

    I started loading up on him last week at +550 and +500.

    Hoping both he and the car fulfill the promise at Monaco. Car's looking great based on performance in tight sections this year.

    Bovada has a mistake up on 1st practice. They have Dan R at +4000 instead of +400. Prob gets voided but I tossed a few bucks on it

    The Red Bulls looked good in P1. Given that Mercedes and Ferrari turn down their engines for P1 an P2 +400 would have been a very good bet. I seriously doubt you get paid at +4000.

    As expected Bovada voided my Dan +4000 P1 bet but we crushed the top 3 +120 (-250 now) and +400 (+225 now). I regret not putting anything down on Max but he has more DNFs than top 3s so I'm not too concerned.

    Dan now -500 top 3 and -225 to win. If he pulls off the win it will be my biggest F1 win ever. Fastest lap would be icing on the cake.
