Alright fellas we are back to a cookie-cutter tracks this weekend for some night racing at KANSAS..Last year we swept both races here rather easily actually so maybe we can hope for the same result this time, but with the 4/18/78 going to be massive favorites we may have to get creative...The Trucks race on Friday night at 8:30PM on FS1 and the Cup race is Saturday night at 8PM on FS1...The Xfinity series is off this weekend...


KANSAS motor speedway is a 1.5 mile asphalt that hasnt had much tire wear since being replaced about 6 years ago...The banking is 17-20 variable in all the turns, the frontstretch is 9-11 degree with the back at just 5 degrees...


Hopefully we can keep up the great results we have been having the last few months and get in another win before the upcoming ALL=-STAR race in Charlotte as we have a tough stretch coming up...

Looking over my notebooks and watching last years 2 races here are a few notes:

Harvick,truex,and kyle B have been great at Kansas in the past few years with those 3 winning all 4 races the last 2 years at Kansas. And in dominating fashion i might add

Blaney has not been on same level as those 3 but he has also ran great here getting a top 5 finish in 3 of his 4 races here

Not sure really just read a couple brief things in the headlines. They probably keeping the details close to the vest. Im guessing is has something to do with revenues and new tv deal.coming up soon. Dont think they have any leverage at all there. Plus Gordon and then JR retiring isnt helping. But they are so in a revenue bed with the race track company that owns 23/26 tracks and maybe difficult but hey maybe it brings some changes. It never said they had buyers lining up but i do think that they would be very careful with choosing a buyer. If it even ends up happening
