Alright guys we are off to New Hampshire for the fall race at Loudon this weekend, the #2 race in the chase for the championship...this race will be a BIG test for several chase drivers, including the leader for one...Only the CUP series will be racing at Loudon, on Sunday afternoon, the nationwide series will be NIGHT RACING from Kentucky speedway on Saturday night, and the Truck series has this weekend off...

Loudon is a 1.078 mile racetrack with little banking of only 9 and 7 degrees variable in the turns and almost perfectly flat on both straights with only 1 degree of banking...both straights measure out at 1,500 feet long...

As usual, all the regulars opinion, leans, ect.. is always welcomed and appreciated...luckily, ive been on absolute fire for a while now after a awful mid-summer streak thankfully, the last month has been a goldmine..not sure we have lost but 1 nationwide race since June either..so hopefully we all can continue the winning ways this weekend!!!

think of all the times Denny was one of the top 7 or 8 favorites (which was almost every race aside from when he was injured) and where he finished. He usually had a top 10 starting position, too.

Four top 10s. Six times in the top 17 all season, and the last time he did that was June 9 at Pocono.

My god those numbers (for him) and like I said what his odds were most of the year and still are at some tracks, are absolutely brutal. And his teammates are racing amoung top 5 weekly. Not sure what's going on, he's either still injured some, pissed, or crew chief driver combo isn't working out

UPDATE:The 2014 Sprint Cup schedule is being debated behind closed doors, and some quite interesting twists appear on the table at the moment. Just a few weeks ago it looked like NASCAR didn't plan any major, or even minor, changes for 2014. Now, however, word is things have, for some reason, changed. What NASCAR eventually does with next year's Cup calendar seems up for review, with few sacred cows. Don't make any hotel reservations, but here are some possible moves:
-- Homestead might lose its spot as the season finale;
-- Phoenix might gain the final spot on the 2014 tour;
-- Sonoma could earn a spot in the playoffs, adding a California stop to the chase;
-- Road America, that picturesque road course at Elkhart Lake, Wis., an hour north of Milwaukee, could get a slot in the 2014 Cup schedule (even though NASCAR's Brian France earlier this year said he planned no new tracks on the tour next season);
-- how to fit a new track in the schedule? Dover could lose its late spring Cup weekend (keeping its early fall Cup date, in the chase), track boss Denis McGlynn, not unaccustomed to such speculation, would surely fight hard to keep both;
-- and -- hold your horses -- Darlington might even get its traditional Labor Day weekend Southern 500 back;
-- to fill that Mother's Day Saturday night slot, maybe a swap with Atlanta;

phoenix is def a much better finale

LOVE a road course in the Chase, wish it wasnt sonoma though, then glen much better race imo

interesting to see changes, and if any will actually come thru, just not alot i like that much, but at least wouldnt be stuck with Homestead as finale race...like darlington to get labor day weekend back too

also wouldnt like to see dover lose a race

Basically they don't have much of an idea about the schedule. Not that many races locked in.

Road America has only had one top level NASCAR race there. 1956, a Grand National (one of the precursors to the Winston and then Sprint Cup) race was held.

They have had Nationwide races there since 2010, though.

Agree with Mike, if we get road course in chase Watkins glen provides better racing. Though may get snow at chase time
