    Chicagoland--nationwide

Figured in a slow week most would play the nationwide race on Sunday to get warmed up for Eldora on Wednesday and the brickyard next weekend. Ill be back home by then so ill definitely play from boredom if nothing else.

I can't wait for Eldora. Just hope they post odds for it which I think is a toss up but I have no clue

Not a bad week really. Kind of like a 'speed week' buildup to Indy

I like the few Nationwide races without the Cup guys personally too.

Brian Scott is one to look to take in H2Hs this week. His best track by a long shot.

I took Logano (+275) and Larson (+2700). Of odds get better ill add on anyways cause with Logano I will. Maybe even if he just slightly drops. Could use as cover if I don't and I have not looked much as woman is around all week. Lol. But I'm guessin he will be tough to beat?

ill add 2 more drivers to win and some h2hs or usual parlay later in the weekend. Might tail a pick or both ill add from u guys. Being its only race ill pick 1-2 more drivers than usual for nationwide

How about vickers as a odd choice coming off some cup momentum and he's finished top 5 in last 3/4 races he's run here. Not sure though as I'm not sure when his stats are from year wise? If anybody knows post it please and thanks.

Think Logano might have trouble keeping up with Dillon, so it will take extra good driving or strategy to win this one. But agree we have to take him. Think also have to take Dillon, whether I trust him to close out races or not. He eventually will start doing it in this series. He's just too damn fast not to.

Bayne worth thinking about if #6 car shows up with car speed.

I'd have Hornish and Sadler as possibles, but probably only use as covers personally, as they never ever come through when i back either one.

Larson remains default longshot, but would split longshot money with him and Scott this week.

Yeah I expect him to be strong.

i love nationwide stand alone races too like optional mentioned without the Kyle, ect. Logano only 1 running gonna make it better race and more hard to call if he doesn't win

I like that thinking. Can easily take both as longshots. Also like ur thinking about dillon as u know he will qualifying well so might not want to wait to take him either but I hate his odds but might be best we can get him at

oh thanks opti. I thought they might be totally irrelevant. I'm definitely NOT taking vickers then. Just can't seem to ever even threaten yet in this series. Thanks I appreciate it

He's gonna win and week I don't bet he we will. Bristol maybe. But not leaving him off at big odds ever. 1 win will payoff very nice with his weekly odds and that's all we would need is 1 win this season since didn't start til lately

Think I'm gonna throw a few darts for the British open too and see if I can recreate my lucky win pick from last year here. Doubtful but they pretty much all have big odds so its cheap fun for little risk

No1 yet but will post who I take later this evening. I don't follow golf at all but the majors I watch some of bit that's it. Just gonna take a few shots but ill post them. But not sure u should tail as really just shots in the dark. But odds are so big it's low risk big reward stuff so guess we wouldn't lose much anyways.

Dillon +600 my only play so far. I just can't take Logano at such a low number and looking at his history here. Will add two more guys later. Also hope they post more H2H plays closer to race time.

I'm taking dillon as well jay.

And joeys stats aren't too shabby here with a win and 2 top 5s in those 4 races. And im sure against ALOT more competition than Hes up against this week. Could be wrong of course and thw price is kyle busch low i agree! lol. Not sure i may still use joey as a cover which i never use in nationwode races but just havent decided yet.

Yeh bud I think Dillon is the play this week. I may start an open parlay with Logano as a possible cover opportunity.

Dillon +475 now, would u go ahead and bet him now?

ill add to him either way and could get better...but wont be after sessions cause hes been qualifying lights out at 1.5 tracks like 3 poles in a row..so if i betting him might as well take it now

    Larson down to 20-1 already

Yis your buddy's causing more wrecks

Tony Stewart causes large wreck in sprint car race: The most well-known driver in the winged-sprint car race Tuesday at Canandaigua Motorsports Park almost became the show-stopper. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Tony Stewart was right at the center of a crash that involved 15 cars on lap 7 of the 25-lap feature race on the half-mile oval dirt track. Stewart, seen later chatting with crew members of other teams, said in an interview over the track's public address system that the accident was his fault. Alysha Ruggles, a 19-year old driver from Canandaigua, was taken to Thompson Hospital in her hometown because of pain in her lower back caused by the accident. Witnesses said that Ruggles' car hit the wheel of another, went into the air 20 to 30 feet and came to a stop 50 to 60 feet later. Crew members for the car driven by Paul Kinney of Canastota said that they believed Kinney was taken to Rochester General Hospital. Kinney had pain in his back and legs but his exact injuries were unknown. "I have never seen anything this bad in a sprint car race, I don't think, or this many cars being taken out in one wreck," said sprint car driver Mike Stelter of Webster. "At least Tony Stewart manned up and said he caused the wreck. "He tried to put the car where it didn't belong. He said it was his fault for trying to force the issue, I guess is a good way to say it."(Democrat and Chronicle)(7-18-2013)
