    KANSAS--5mike5

    Alright guys were off to KANSAS again this week for chase race #5...Both CUP and the nationwide series will both be racing this weekend at Kansas, on saturday and sunday afternoon...the truck series is off again this weekend and will return in Martinsville next week

    As always everybody's opinion/thoughts/leans are always welcome in this thread every week and i really appreciate them...no way i would have had this amazing season without all ur guys help every week...as always ive already started watching the past few years of races from the track and studying each drivers notebook for Kansas...this has been a great track for me in the past so hope it keeps up this weekend

    Kansas is a 1.5 mile D-shaped oval with 15 degrees of banking in the turns...the frontstretch is 10.4 degrees banked, while the back is 5 degrees...the frontstretch measures out at 2,685 feet and the back at 2,207 feet long

    PRACTICES    : Friday @ 12:30pm (speed), AND Saturday @ 11am and 1:30 pm (both on espn2)

    QUALIFYING: Friday @ 5PM (ESPN2)

    both good but not sure about way ahead of a few others just based on current form

    i spend about 12 hrs watching last 5 races yesterday

    my eyes hurt

    *keep in mind this track was reconfigured and repaved b4 the fall race last season

    wont be anytime soon(for me)..if they arent posted by 9am my time, it will be later in early evening at the earliest most of the time

    going by my past odds notebook, i wont be taking but 1 maybe 2 early depending on odds....probly on 3 max 4 picks overall for race winners

    no, ill just just look at teams with best fuel mileage when im handicapping the race..still its not like u can really handicap for fuel mileage no matter what u do...but certain drivers are elevated for the possiblity imo

    just a factor im keeping in mind

    finishing position stats are so sckewed sometimes...i think its the most overrated stat in nascar

    watching entire past races (if possible) is the best thing u can do

    Don't think teams can plan for fuel mileage it all depends on late cautions

    If you don't have any then it's fuel mileage

    Late cautions helps non fuselage races anyone know what the stats are for Kansas for late cautions
