Carl and Jimmie aren't historically great at Daytona, so I didn't bet them.
There are quite a few other drivers who could win, but I felt like throwing $40 bucks on the race and make it more interesting.
I think there is value in Truex, Hamlin, Gordon, and Busch lines.
I bet Dale Jr just to bet him. He looked great in the shootout and the Gatorade Duel. Really no value here, just hard not to root for the guy.
With that being said, Daytona is the ultimate crapshoot. Anything can happen.
The field is only +1500 and the notable drivers in the field are Regan Smith, Trevor Bayne and Danica Patrick... so no value in that IMO.
