    Dubai World Cup

Anybody playing this? I know it's on at the crack of dawn here on the west coast on TVG, but just looked at the lines at Pinny and all the limits are Bodog-ish (200, 300, and 500) :surprised

I don't shit about these horses to be honest. Maybe throw a few bucks on the first number that pops in my head if I'm awake at that hour, lol.

I've always found the Japanese horses run poorly in these big international races. No idea why.

I usually set the clock and bet the final 4 races, and actually turned a small profit the last 2 years. But I'm keeping with my pledge to just bet NCAA games for the rest of the month.

Last year, I had Choctaw Nation at 13-1 in this race, and he looked like a winner turning for home only to flatten out and finish 3rd. He's back again and should be the same odds. Problem is he's never won at the distance, and this field is much better than last year. He always gives you a thrill even in a losing cause.

Electrocutionist has the home-field advantage, and I just don't think the U.S. horses are that good this year, so I'd lean toward him. But as the 8-5 favorite, tough to take him.

Free PPs at the Racing Form web site. Big fields and long odds could mean a profit with just one score.

I'm going to pass too, since I got tennis action going now, lol. I almost did an $130 8,2/8,2/all trifecta in the 4th race. As I was glancing over at the TV, it came in 8, 12, 7 or something. I thought it was 8-2 and nearly lost my mind for passing, lol.

Super Frolic has had trouble in his last two races. Worth a play at 30/1.
