Yeah, this has been a back and forth issue. Casey is right, but some golfers like the noise level and feel less distracted.

Either way, I think we are both wise to give some pause and thought to it, it just might matter.

DJ has won a tourney since the restart, hopefully that accounts for something.

Going to be a long round tomorrow...

The story the MLB Contrarian Fund so far this year. Teams trigger a couple times, lose, then drop off and win. I've been fortunate enough to wise up and bet into a few of those the Fund drop offs, but it seems to be a recurring theme.

A lot of people will point to the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay and what happened to him in 2010, but DJ's a good closer. He's got 21 wins, so that speaks for itself. He can close a tourney out.

He's going to be tough to catch. The two guys I think that most can do it are Koepka and Morikawa. Koepka because simply who he is and Morikawa because he's the home two kid who I personally think is the next great young star out of all of them right now. Better than Wolff, Hovland, Champ, etc. And he's gotten better and better throughout the week.

Reporter: "There's a few guys around you with one major; you've obviously got more. Was the second one harder to win?"

Brooks: "Well, if you look at the top of the leaderboard, I'd say yes."

    current odds

    dj +275
    koepka +450
    morikawa +1000
    champ +1100
    scheffler +1100
    dechambeau +1400
    casey +1600
    berger +2000
    fleetwood +2000
    day +2500
    rose +2800
    finau +3300
I don’t like him @ 14 to 1 three shots back of DJ. I had him at 29 to 1 three shots back at the second tournament back from the restart. He lost by 1 bogeyed 17 was content with those odds. Was hoping to get 20 to 1 at least or more.

I’m new to DK fantasy golf. What’s the best strategy? Head-to-heads? Multipliers? Double-ups? Just curious what others have found success in.

I play the big tourneys just for lotto tickets

Small double ups are probably the easiest

I mainly play heads up and single entry higher buyins

Dont play in $100 contests with a max of 3k people where you can enter up to 50 times

Good call yesterday on Wolff Rudy. This isn't the first time you've picked a matchups winner. I'm surprised you don't just do those, the winning percentage has got to be pretty high

not sure what to think of that today

    thanks chief

too much of a hassle...fees going in, fees going out...time delays

I can deposit on Draftkings and cash out that night to my bank

It isn't worth it to cash out $400 on 5dimes, so I let it sit around til I am drunk then go piss it away

I have no discipline with offshore money

Haha yeah I don’t like entries where there’s more than 1,000 people. Did that my first week and it was a waste. I’d rather do smaller fields or head to heads. Gives me a better shot at winning some $$$.

Hard to win majors at his age, body just isn't the same.

When he won the Masters it was extremely impressive.

That wouldn't be a surprise. Haotong Li coming back and winning....now that would be a surprise.

Although it brings me back to Angel Cabrera in 2007 at the USO. Led after two rounds, had a bad third round and played back several groups on Sunday, and with no pressure on him, shot the round of the day and won. Maybe a good omen for Li/Fleetwood.

What do you guys think of the live odds? Books saying it should be a 2 horse race, but I'm not so sure Morikawa, Rose, Dechambeau etc shouldn't be lower odds.

I’m sitting on DJ, Morikawa and Berger tickets.. but if I were to bet live I would back Morikawa. He is a special talent, knows the course, is playing well and has already proven himself to be a killer. I would back Morikawa at 10-1 heading into today if I wanted to back someone to chase down DJ. Champ has already won 2 events in his short career (albeit 2 weak events). He is live, and I am not sure he will fold today.. but I feel more strongly about Morikawa. DJ wins this IMO.
