    There are two types of damages.

    Actual and Punitive

    You cannot have punitive if you dont have 1) actual damages and 2) neglect

    So yes, they probably have a small actual damages claim and a massive punitive claim

    Judges and juries that are unfit (usually in California) award this type of BS as an anti corporate message.

    These awards are always reversed and cut down to size on appeal.

    The plaintiffs in the roundup case wont see any money for years maybe decades and even then itll be nickles on the dollar, if anything.

    My own Mother has sued me over 9 times for cash! 0-8 so far; 1 pending. And also I foreclosed on her home lol

    That's what US judicial system has come to, a way to try to support ones self by throwing mud at another person in hope of a settlement.
