The Dustin Johnson putt decision, Chambers Bay, terrible course set up at Shinnecock again.....etc, etc.

And now we're learning it was him who told Phil not to withdraw. Terrible decision that Phil will regret for the rest of his life. He had a brain fart on the course. Not that big a deal. Then he had another brain fart when being interviewed. He said he did it on purpose, which means he should have been DQ'd. Phil wanted to DQ himself but Davis talked him out it.

Everyone would've just had a good laugh if Phil had done the right thing and withdrew. Now he'll forever be whispered about as a cheater. When a golfer double hits a ball they still call it a TC Chen, and that misfortune happened in 1985. Now every golf course in the world will hear players talking about a Michelson, hitting a moving putt.

Never ever take advice from Mike Davis. He needs to go.

It wasn't so much that Phil did it, but he went ahead and (lied?) saying he did it on purpose.

He had a mini-breakdown, like most golfers have done hundreds of times, but he didn't take his medicine.
