Hey, put on CBS and check out the final holes of this great PGA championship.

    As good as it gets.
Philly tied with Fowler, and a bunch of big named lurkers.
Rory, the new Tiger, one off....

As good as it gets, and look, no Tiger, PGA can live just fine without Tiger, and yet people seem to think he's relevant still

Or because it's a PGA championship and not some random tourney...

Phil with the 30 foot par save! I hope he wins.

Shame they had to rush the last 2-3 holes. Phil being fake again, you could tell it bugged him.

How could it not bug him? That was suspect, but all of that was the player's call. It's probably a breach of protocol, but they let Rory be that aggressive about it.

Phil almost holing out the eagle chip on 18, that was sick.

Today was unreal. It would have been an epic fukkup if Rory put his drive in the drink on 18th.

Would like to see more events at Valhalla. Rain really changed the day.

Yeah, Rory was lucky that the ground was so soft. He seemed to be striping his driver with a draw all day, then missed right on 18. I'm sure he was a little rushed after waiting on every shot the rest of the day. Place would have gone nuts of Phil chipped that in. He does that and I think Rory pushes it to the morning.

You really couldn't tell how mucky and sloppy it was until they zoomed in. Fun course, but I don't like such an easy hole for #18 of a major. Driver and a 4-6 iron to get on in 2? Kind of weak in my book.

That's a big fukkin problem. Final hole of a major should be a long par 4, not too hard, but one where you have to earn the birdie. Off the top of my head I don't know of any other course the PGA plays on that finishes with a par 5.

    Pebble Beach - par 5 18th
I grew up in NJ, 5 minute drive to Springfield, Baltusrol has a monster par 5 18th.
I think Baltusrol is the only with back to back par 5's (17 and 18)

Ha! Good call on Pebble Beach - and it's only one of the most famous holes in golf. But a birdie there is no given - especially when the wind is up.
