So finally got around to working out results for the weekend. Thought we had a bit of bad luck during the day. E.g Syd 3 bets.
first race, pick is 3 wide and has to go back to 3rd last to "get in" runs on for second, and then in the other 2 races the number 1 selection misses the jump in both races. Not much you gonna do when that happens in every race in that state! Still posted a small win and mostly importantly won at VIC. most important becuase Bris wont be their in a few weeks and Melb is the bread and butter. -1059.45

Extremely frustrating Wed with all but one race called off. Of course the only race that run was the least likely bet of the day.
Still had the $8.50 shot start at $5s but only ran third so a (-$40) loss. was quite confident on the latter races but never got a chance to run. Amazing to think it had rained once in the last 10 days and they still cant get the track up to scratch what a joke.

Fence off, wide barriers are advantaged. When they aerated the track they got rain so it hasn't dried out, probably looking at a Dead 5.

See The World was the best.

Have taken 3.6 about Almalad in the first, take the $3.5 with 365.

I've also backed Excess Knowledge in the last but at longer odds, I'd probably take the $8 with 365 if I hadn't invested already, expect it to SP shorter so it's a fair position.

I'd probably take the $5.5 about Amazon in race 7 with 365 if I could but I can't get a bet on with them.

I had Katie's Cove quite a bit longer than the market in race 3, interested in numbers 6,7,8,10,12, the 10 Black Revolver looks the best of those but is also the shortest, no bets yet though.

Will also be looking at Doomben, unsure how the track is going to play so will observe the first few races before decide on any plays. Backed Knoydart in the antepost markets for the 10,000 so that's all I've got at the moment.

I am expecting Doomben to be far less fence on fire this week than it was last week, hoping it plays evens. I like the look of knoydart for the 10,000 if i look past his last run failure. Been in top form ever since that biased track on a wet Mornington (from memory i think it was mornington anyway) and if he runs to some of those formlines will be right in this. I am guessing you got some pretty nice antepost odds. so best of luck

Yep that race was a heart breaker i also had a little interest bet on 2nd and 3rd. start of the day kept getting rolled in photos but was able to finish on a high, still wish one of those could have gone my way to make it a great day. But i am up and about, ready to get stuck into next weekend all ready lol.
Wish you could have paid off the national debt! bloody Waller, was glad when in that post race interview he downplayed thehopes of brazen beau? but was pretty irrelevant it couldnt/didnt win as instead of laying it i was on Pressing did nothing anyway, but was never really put into it by Ollie

I logged into this thread whilst on the phone at work by pure chance and saw your post. haven't had a chance to watch the race replay but have logged into my account and see it about $450 better off. thanks for posting (please share more, hope you cleaned up!


Havent gone through my sandown bets either, but looking like a $300 profit roughly. had the profit locked in after winning 3 of the first 4 but didnt improve it at the end of the day with the last 3 freerolled races not getting the choccies. still #something. Looking foward to the weekend.
