Friday night at the MCG sees Hawthorn take on the Adelaide Crows. The hawks got soundly touched up by a depleted Saints outfit (7 star players out) last week. I witnessed the loss first hand. The hawks were HORRIBLE, lacked effort and looked like they were just going through the motions. They lose one of their star fowards in Roughhead tonight and Franklin is hot and cold this year. They lack the ability to score goals. Adelaide on the other hand also are coming off a loss to the Pies last week and have a few key players out however they are by far the most consistent unit. They beat the hawks resoundingly when they last met. If they win tonight they are in the top four, lose and they risk dropping to 7th on the ladder. It is a must win game for them. Hawks are also fighting for survival and a top 8 birth but are playing too poorly to be considered. At $1.73 this looks like a nice play for a team that plays ok when away as shown when they were unlucky not to beat Geelong 2 weeks ago when going down by 1 point at the Cat Dome. I'm predicting a 20+ point win to the Crows.
