So when the ABs play 'bad' it's all their fault? Never the opposition pressuring them? ...

I'll let you think what you want, if you think that aussie forward pack could match the all blacks consistently then well, i have no comment.

Man, where the hell are the boks right now? I can't find a place to watch the game online, but just following the score it looks like Ireland is having their way with them. Hopefully they come out to play in the 2H.

Ireland came out with a spirited performance in the 1st half. Probably should've expected that since their last match was 0-60 and they would've been running on passion. Showed in the 2nd how much they missed their best players. Once they get them back they'll be pretty formidable if they can play for 80 like they did in the 1st.

I can't believe we were ever discussing that the french pack and scrum would struggle! the wallabies are a myth.

France have a huge future, they have an awesome squad.

We'll get em next week boys

Congrats to the guys who picked France, must say I was surprised at the result especially with France fielding such an inexperienced squad. Also the boks winning but failing to cover ATS was rather frustrating after such a nice start to the night with the Pumas.

It's hard to go past abs on the minus if the weather is good.

Vito and Thomson in the loosies worries me, neither really get stuck in their work and are more ballcarriers looking for tries...both shouldn't be on the field the same time but we'll see what happens.

abs or no play really, i never bet against the all blacks because yes i am a fan but more so because you know the men in black can smack anybody by any margin anyday when they're on.

Backing the Scots tonight fellas. That line has dropped to 25.5 and 24.5 in a lot of places. I'm taking the 26.5 on offer at Sportingbet (1.91). Also looking to increase that by buying back on Betfair if I can get matched.

abs are just so unpredictable on the points spread. learnt my lesson this yr when they played ireland in chch and aus in brisbane. everythin looked good but they played like crap(one win by drop goal, one draw) and when everything not looking so flash with injuries or etc they smashed the opponent by large margin. my suggestion for abs matches is to bet on totals, it's more predictable, and take abs when they have low point spread(usually never happens and normally when they are away) no matter the lineup or watever factors(expect for really bad weather). for example -6.5 against aus(27-19), -12.5 against puma(54-15), and -5.5(32-16) when they take on SA in rugby champion earlier this yr.

AB's cover ATS by 29 points, I had a feeling this line was spot on and decided to stay away but will be back with some more plays next w/e. Thanks for all the input lads, no doubt this thread is full of useful info for those just getting into Rugby or wishing to expand their knowledge of the great game.

i think the abs will smack the italian pussies by 50+, they could have done that to scotland today but the defense was sloppy.

they won't be happy about conceding 3 tries, so expect some much better defense. Also that muppet thomson will be out of the mix now.

    Wales-Samoa on Friday, Italy-NZ, England-Australia, Scotland-South Africa and France-Argentina on Saturday.

Let's hope for some decent spreads.

NZ should be a 26.5-28 fav, South Africa 15.5-17, England 3.5-4.5, France 7.5-8.5 not sure about Wales(14.5-16.5?).

One thing that disturbs me is that the NZ,Australia and South Africa games all start at the same time.

Scotland-South Africa on Sunday afternoon would've been great since both are in the same time zone.

This bothered me a lil bit as well, its not like its a ton of games so one would think they could spread them out a little bit better over the weekend.

ab spread already out in nz TAB. -28.5 & totals at 51.5.

abs total over 39.5 look like easy money if weather is fine. 51.5 a bit risky coz you don't know if italy gonna score any points. scot scored 3 tries and 2 of them are from abs mistake.

+7.5 Leicester v Maori All Blacks
    -12.5 Wales v Samoa
    -4.5 England v Australia
    +11.5 Scotland v South Africa
    -9.5 France v Argentina

thoughts guys? i like maori abs -7.5 for tomo. dont know much about leicester but maori abs has a pretty decent lineup.

I like Maori ABs -7.5 as well. Is there a stream somewhere? not even the rugby channel has it.

I like Samoa +12.5, they smashed canada so they'll be in sync. Wales looked like mud against argentina, Samoa went toe to toe with a better wales them @ the WC.

England -4.5, again they'll be in sync for the most part bar some big guns back i'm assuming, the wallabies are a myth, will continue fading them.

Scotland/SA...I don't know...SA is awful on the road, Scotland looked ok.

    France -9.5, France are awesome.

Samoa +12.5 looking good. Alun-Wyn Jones & Jamie Roberts added to wales injury list. Adam Jones & Dan Lydiate already ruled out of the series. Ryan Jones & Ashley Beck in doubt.

time to ditch that team and bring in an NZ A team so Anscombe and Ardie Savea can play.

    Friday 16th November

Wales v Samoa (Millenium Stadium Cardiff)

    Samoa +11.5 (-110, $1.90 Sportingbet) 2x

Too many points to give up against a Samoan team on the rise! Yes there is a big angle to be played in Wales having their pants pulled down by a dominant Pumas side last w/e in front of their adoring home crowd, and no doubt Wales will be fired up and ready for a big game, etc, etc. They have even taken the extraodinary step of dropping captain Sam Warburton for this match. Samoa however will likely be fired up as well, as when these teams last met about a year ago in NZ, it was Samoa playing the better Rugby leading 10-6 at the half before Wales snatched the match in the second half 17-10. Samoa have have been very impressive lately recording a recent win against Australia, 3 narrow losses against higher ranked teams, and crushing the two teams they were supposed to beat. Wales in terrible form with 3 dissapointing losses against Australia (where they were considered a massive chance to knock off the Wallabies) followed by last weeks poor effort against a fired up Pumas side (that we cashed on).

    Wales Samoa
    Wales - Argentina 12-26 16-17 Samoa - Scotland
    Australia - Wales 20-19 13-5 South Africa - Samoa
    Australia - Wales 25-23 7-27 Fiji - Samoa
    Brumbies - Wales 15-25 17-10 Wales - Samoa
    Australia - Wales 27-19 49-12 Samoa - Namibia
    Wales - Barbarians 30-21 23-32 Australia - Samoa

** Further analysis to be added soon

Their styles of rugby are incredibly hard to cap, would lay off this game.
