Unreal how Good Pau plays in the Olympics

I remember in 2004 in dominated Duncan when he was reigning MVP in his prime, 2nd best player on the court today.

They can't breathe on him or it's a foul. The US has no answer down low.

Not surpriding hes getting touches in the post. He's had more post touches this game than he did all last year on the lakers. I made a thread about the lakers no longer utilizing gasol.

He is their number one option. The offense runs totally through him in spain. On the lakers he was their thrid choice and the offense never ran thigh him it was run through Kobe. But the lakers were always a better team when Kobe was injured or not playing. Their chemistry was great when he was gone.

Well when LA won the titles in 2010 and 2011 the ball was run through Pau in the low post with the triangle offense. Last year Pau never touched the ball in the post yet people complained that he wasnt still a 20 and 10 guy. All he did was jump shoot. Bynum was already clogging the lane.

Agreed all Euro's play so much better for their country.....or maybe it's the international rules vs. NBA rules

Gasol is so underrated. Been saying that for years. He is a center who has the skill set of a SF.
