Del Mar today, Saratoga next week!
Great time of the year for horse racing. Del Mar opens today and Saratoga next Wednesday.
I always seemed to make up some losses from earlier in the year at Saratoga from having watched so many races.
But last year, couldn't hit anything there as the track was biased to speed the whole meet on the dirt and turf. Usually, the speed bias lasts the first week, until some rain, then it evens out. Not last year.
I went to Del Mar Friday night and the Flaming Lips was awesome in concert after the races.
