Perfect conditions in Bris. A bit humid, not sure if this effects the Saints.

I know the public will be all over St Kilda -22 so I may be on my own on with the Lions
Something to consider is that every year, the Lions major request to the AFL is to play on easter thursday. This is basically their showcase event (only thu/fri game). Lions have won all 5 easter thursday matches at the Gabba since they started getting them in 2003.

I expect the Lions to hang around for 3 quarters before the more experienced, bigger bodies of St Kilda pull away in the last. Note that the Lions could easily be 2-1 right now if Brown didn't get his face destroyed. They were demolished against the Bulldogs but I wouldn't read too much into it given they had a non existent forward structure. Interesting to see that they dropped Beams for McCauley ... thats basically 3 ruckman!
Strongly considering the Saints 1-39 with a dominant display by Riewoldt.

Good stuff Gee, it wasn't pretty but they hung on in the end
Have to wonder why Vossy played 3 rucks and used a FF as the sub though
