    Lived there every summer in the early to mid 70s.
    What a place!
    Max's on the boardwalk,the RBI just outside the backstretch gate,the golf course 5 minutes away from Monmouth and the beach.

    too bad monmouth won't have the meet they had last summer. no more purse subsidies for the horseman. it looks like monmouth may be doomed like most other non-slot tracks. you can blame that white elephant atlantic city for it. at least you will have decent otb parlors when the dust settles around 2013.

    yea STR its amazing living here, just want the cold weather to go away,
    Unusual- yea it sucks, i dont think Monmouth Parks live racing will go anywhere, plus thanks to the breeders cup we have a sick ass bar and simulcasting area so its chillen just like a vegas sportsbook but for just horse racing 5 blocks from my house lol
