Field favored at 6-5 on Future Wager; Uncle Mo tops single entries

The "all-other" three-year-old entry of Churchill Downs' Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) was favored at 6-5 as of 9 p.m. (EST) Saturday night, the second day of the popular bet's opening pool.

There were only two sophomores listed at single-digit odds at that point in the wager, with undefeated champion and Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) hero UNCLE MO (Indian Charlie) drawing the majority of the attention at 7-2. DIALED IN (Mineshaft), the Nick Zito trainee who has gone two-for-two thus far following his win in the January 30 Holy Bull S. (G3), was listed at 9-1, just below his morning-line odds of 10-1.

Remsen S. (G2) and Nashua S. (G2) winner TO HONOR AND SERVE (Bernardini) is also attracting a lot of support and was listed at 10-1, the same as his morning-line odds. The Bill Mott pupil is scheduled to make his seasonal bow in next Saturday's Fountain of Youth S. (G2).

The Kentucky Derby Future Wager provides fans with opportunities to wager on potential contenders for the May 7 Kentucky Derby (G1) at odds that could be much more attractive than those available on race day. It offers win and exacta wagering, and all bets are $2 minimum wagers.
