horse is running in the 7th,,, you could still wager on the horse in the 7th & 8th,, at 9 minutes before the 5th,, calder overlooked it worried about the casino as weebsite scr was last undated @11.30, or they have no regard for the player,

nope was not the fav,, horse was listed @8/1 in the 7th & 12/1 in the 8th,, it did not really effect me i was betting @ home anyway, i liked the horse and was playing small pk 3's, just thinking some people go to the track watch a double make some bets & leave, i actually punched in a pk3 ticket after the 4th w/same horse 7th & 8th, i canceled it before the 6th,
just never seen it before, doubt i'll ever see it again, the call is made by 1st post, i thought

    good luck

Cross entering a horse is VERY common, but not at the same track. This is much more common with grass STAKES runners where weather is a dependent factor on whether the horse runs or not.

Very normal for cross entering but i think the OP had a problem with the lack of a scratch. I mean imagine if you played the double where u played 1/ALL and the 1 lost. You would be entitled to at least that one combination back instead of throwing the entire ticket out.

as far as the double it would be refunded, because it was 7th & 8th race,, they removed the horse about 10 minutes before the 5th,,, it dawned on me that in the 8th the horse was entered as an also elig and not entered in the main body of the field, if she would have been in the main body scr would have been before 1st race post time, not before the 5th,, just threw me off, guess i wasn't thinking,, still don't like it, don't think that would jive at any ny track,, seen also elig stay in until a race or 2 before post @ny,, but not if entered in back to back races,, maybe i'm wrong, best i make of it
