    Kentucky question to any of the horse specialists

    In past Kentucky derbies, how often has a horse outside of the top 3 favorites won the race?

    I'm looking at the field and it seems that three horses stand out. The price for all three together (to win) is about even odds. Just wondering if it's the better bet to bet on those three horses or to fade them.

    Every year is different, this years edition more than any other because of the surface changes in So.Cal and Keenland..
