    Gallop Racer video game

Saw someone talking about Madden and it made me think of this. . .

I'm aware of a game called Gallop Racer from a few years back. Anyone here ever play it? If so, is it worth getting. Apparently, this game IS (or say "was") hard to find in the US and I know nobody who played. If it's any good, I'll buy it off ebay.

I played it till I beat it.Very fun if you are into horse racing but this was 10 years ago so I don't know if anyone would like it now that they are spoiled with todays technology.

Last one I played was for PS1 but it was really fun from what I remember.

Speaking of games, do you guys remember the Royal Ascot game by Sega in Casinos? It took quarters and had mechanical horses that would race. There was a newer version which was all video but my local casinos took those out too.

    Absolutely, I remember that game.

I'm aware they are no longer in America. I think some remain in Canada, the Caribbean, etc.

At Tahoe's Montbleu (confirmed), and (perhaps/hopefully still) at MGM in Las Vegas, the original Sigma Derby game remains.

I enjoyed the Sega game much more. Graphics and more betting options.
