One of the worst DQ's ever

If you have been watching races for any length of time, please watch Canterbury race 4 on 8-12-10 and tell me where the foul happened. Horses that are 11+ lengths clear of the alleged victim should have committed a foul that was so obvious anyone could see it. That was not the case here.

The foul was betting on Canterbury itself

pretty bad DQ there, if they DQ horses that did what he did all the time, there would be one a race.

funny that the canterbury horse got dq'd for doing nothing not affecting the outcome of the race 1 but, but a race just ran at delaware where the leader interefered with 2 horse, bumping 1 repeatedly and holding on by less than a head, inquiry and a objection, and they did nothing....

Biggest problem is different rules at each track. Some DQ for any foul, and the jocks know it, but some tracks have stewards who become mind readers trying to figure out if a horse "was cost a better placing" whatever that means. How can a steward tell if a horse stopped running because they were bumped or was getting tired anyway, and the bump didn't matter. Not totally different than bad boxing judges

Monday night at the Red Mile (harness) -- I'm live with three legs of the pick 4 in the bag, and have a single in the last leg. It is coming back $98 for a buck and my horse (the 2) is the second choice. Well, the favorite is the 6 and the third choice is the 5, and my 2 horse wins by 8 lengths. Then, the inquiry light goes on. Turns out that the two inbred hillbilly farmers driving the 5 and 6 can't count past 4, and line up behind the gate in the wrong order with the 6 inside of the 5. They decide to declare both the 5 and 6 nonstarters and are late scratched -- which is awful because now my 2 is the post-time favorite, and all of the people who used them in the pick 4, now get my horse by default. The pick 4 paid $35 for a buck, costing me over $60.

The DQ seemed legitimate in that the 1 horse caused the 5 horse to move one path away as well as probably taking momentum away from it causing it any chance at winning. But i have a bigger problem with the ride of the 2 horse who was like whipped the entire race. Jockey hit him a good 7 times in the first furlong.
