    4th of July fireworks shows at race tracks,bad idea!

    Anyone ever seen a fireworks show at a race track?They had one at the Black Hills dog track during the race program whe I as there years ago and it was callamity as far as how the dogs performed.Some wouldn't leave the starting box.Even at Canterbury Park thoroughbreds they had a show after the race card and the next day at the races,the horses were in goofy form bucking riders.etc.If I were the jockey guild,I would strongly reccomend not having them.Good for the recreational dart board bettors who bet on longshots though.

    not a good idea just based on how the horses act back in the barn area..

    laff my greyhound heard fireworks last night and i thought he would die. he ran into the closet and hide in his ball and shook and shook and shook, then he went and hid in the bath tub.
