There is a carryover of $143,896 for Saturday’s pick six at Hollywood Park, which includes two graded stakes on turf.

The pick six covers the fifth through 10th races. The fifth race is the $100,000 Miesque Stakes for 2-year-old fillies over a mile on turf, while the ninth race is the $150,000 Hollywood Turf Express for sprinters.

The Miesque Stakes has drawn a field of 12. Sea Chanter, a stakes winner at Monmouth Park on Oct. 26, is the morning-line favorite, but there will be ample money for Runforthemoneybaby, the winner of the California Cup Juvenile Fillies earlier this month who is making her turf debut.

The sixth race has been reduced to 11 starters with the scratches of Apolla, Becky’s Vow and Be Mysterious. The $25,000 claimer over six furlongs is led by the speedy Kula Girl, who drew the outside. Romanced and Omi’s Back, second and third in the same race on Oct. 28, will be closing from off the pace.

The seventh race is an allowance race over six furlongs on turf for fillies and mares. The comebacker Queen of the Catsle, unraced since May, and Tayla Renee, a game second on Nov. 7, are worth considering. Trainer John Sadler, whose stable is off to an excellent start at this meeting, runs Eva Beaver, a New Zealand invader.

Sadler’s Curiously Sweet will be the focus for many bettors in the eighth race, an allowance race over 1 1/16 miles. Curiously Sweet scored a smart win in an optional claimer for statebreds on Nov. 1, her first start since April.

She must beat Siamese Cat, who is trained by Graham Motion, and Down, the likely favorite, who was third in the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet last December.

The Turf Express has 10 entrants. Fast Parade, a five-time stakes winner, makes his first start since March. Night Chapter returns following a troubled fifth-place finish in the Grade 3 Monrovia Handicap at Santa Anita on Oct. 27. Night Chapter won three turf stakes earlier this year.

The final race is a $10,000 claimer over seven furlongs that has a full field of 14. Contenders include Patriotic Flame, the winner of a $10,000 claimer at Santa Anita on Oct. 6; New Rule, who won his last start at Bay Meadows; and PT’s Grey Eagle, who makes his first start for trainer Gary Sherlock,.
