Has anyone noticed the difference in Races during the week as opposed to Friday night at the raceway; just looking for some insight; I'm just getting into the races and looking for a bit of advice

Friday night has younger horses getting their feet wet racing so you can expect erratic form whereas midweek racing has claimers and non-winners races where horses are more experienced but may not have as much potential talent and lot of them have breathing issues where they lead for 3/4 of a mile then stop on a dime so you have to use horses that are in the outer flow to avoid getting jammed in.

Western fair definatly not a track for bettors without a little nerve, its one of the few remaining half mile track with no passing lane, horses get locked in the pocket constantly there, especially the ones i bet..
