went to suffolk saturday they have cleanup the place. big crowd on hand was great to see also. hopefully this is a sign of good things to come for racing in new england!! talk of a possible casino resort there can only help the purses and improve the quality of racing
Racing is essentially a dead product in Mass ... They've had one bailout after another over the years ... Fat chance Suffolk will ever have a casino ... I don't know about the present management but Suffolk had a long history of treating it's customers like crap ... The population isn't interested in racing as an entertainment option.
And yes, they had a nice turnout for The Mass Cap which was a poor quality race ... Business will be back to normal tomorrow.
This is unrelated to your discussion but i was wondering what online books you guys use to bet on racing for US tracks, i follow UK racing a bit myself but the UK books dont cover the US tracks.
