AQU Race 8 Alw $43,000N1X (4:25 ET)
#8 La Vida Vino 5/2
#3 Spring Elusion 5/1
#7 Banker's Buy 2/1
#1 Classofsixtythree 10/1
Analysis: #8 La Vida Vino comes in here riding a three race win streak, last out beating $25K non winners of three in a sharp effort despite stumbling out of the gate. This will be her first go around two turns. She did handle a one turn mile when she broke her maiden for a $25K tag on the main track here in a race taken off the turf. She has enough pedigree to handle the stretch out, by Tale of the Cat out of a Deputy Minister mare, and she won't mind of the track still has some moisture in it. Pletcher is 25% winners (with a +ROI) moving runners from sprint to route.
#3 Spring Elusion makes her first start since Dec. 30 when she beat $25K non winners of two. That win was her first trip on the inner and came off a 4 1/2 month layoff. She is out of the stakes winner Autumn Slew ($383K). The barn can win off the bench and this gal's career top came over a sloppy surface. She fits here and nearly passed this first level allowance condition at Keeneland last fall, beaten just a neck.
