WOW Race 4 Belmont. Rough run race from start BUT WOW. I had the 3 Gal in a Rush heavy in Muti and WPS. Unreall won the head bob by a whisker for second and gets moved up to win becaue the easy winner caused the 7 to lose second. If the 7 is second they never take winner down. Thats the luckiest Ive been in a long time BTW Chad Brown the #4 thats even more incredicle they take Chad down

find in general they're a little more lenient with 2yo msw's but he really came into the 7 hard..but you're right with it's a chad brown fts who wins easy and big..figure that would hold some weight in this situation. not a horrible scenario as they win $18k for 2nd and will probably take down the winner's share next out..now that I've jinxed her I will be taking a shot against next start lol

I think it's just very hard to do..they probably have a good idea by connections and pedigree info (or if they've run already)what it should be and then you get some in the supposedly "in the know" money..but of course that's no guarantee and then you get chad or todd at a big price on occasion like yesterday

the 3 big pedigrees in this race are all homebreds and a 4th from shug is a 2nd time starter..trying to beat todd (#7 @ 3-1 one of them)..best combo trainer stats and pedigree imo..mott occasionally will surprise with a firster which is no surprise with the stock that he gets

public sees that unimpressive debut at elp and dismiss him.. maybe part of it was due to slow pace but I figure a good run around the track for experience.. prestige aside a lot nicer to win at cd for $127k vs ellis at $51k .. then the fact he's an expensive horse and also would say exp for the pedigree but not overwhelming like others I've seen..you're right about morey as he has some of the best numbers I've seen with maidens ,2yo's and 2nd time out horses over a sizeable sample

thoughts on this 2 year old? looks to me as a stand out off first race route duel and fade. the race came back very strong now shortens up and shows up in Toronto for a huge purse maiden race. Love the connections top jock kills price even more first time lasix too. probably goes off 7/5 or so maybe the 6 helps price a bit as he was in stakes race ran 3rd last out and the 3 w Casse training always get some action

a stickout and I'd say you're right with the odds..remember this one from saratoga and might have even picked her (could check that) ..very exp/specs which I always emphasize and thomas is a fantastic trainer..cutback to 7f is perfect as you said and they gave the pace as fast with the brisnet figs..works following the race were sharp

both mine and the 3 are fts and not only expensive but expensive relative to the pedigree and they are not borderline cases.. 3 mega expensive.. trainer info on both very similar. going with the cheaper.. johnny v who won the saratoga derby yesterday is riding.. also mine has a quick work on the grass at the saratoga training track
