thanks..I really enjoy capping harness racing..same distance, surface, regularity and typically minimal class moves on the everyday type horses fits well with what I do

    do you enjoy harness racing?

ive spoke before on this topic

of course I’ve played and won

and know the key players (drivers / trainers)

the owners of my local OTB own several harness horses

They crush , always eve’s drop on them , but they all about class and knowing

    trainers first hand

I throw $30 on their horizontals just try n learn

but it’ll never be my passion

it’s not my cup of tea

however,@ my handicapping level I should atleast try n learn

but if you ever have time

to crash course me on what you looking for in the handicapping

I’m not ashamed to say , I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to this

and I’ll prob not apply it

    but I always wanna learn

what I do is fairly simple and I feel unique..I think it gives me an edge but I've never actually kept records..I have more faith in it than I do with the thoroghbreds..problem is outside of the meadowlands the pools are so shallow that it's a bit discouraging..wouldn't just say it in the forum because of this..i'll explain it to you via pm when I can..you may or may not like it who knows..I'll also tell you why I think imo it works..it will take some time for you to develop an opinion on whether it works so you will just be considering the concept..I have observed this method for a very long time (decades) ..but no records just a feel there's an edge to it..send it over the weekend

A bit confused by the above post. You wrote in your regular thread recently that you have lost a lot of money playing the game. But here you say you think your methodology gives you an edge. You do not keep records, but is not the money lost proof that maybe it's not what you think it is. Or maybe you just are not a good gambler, but in the pure sense your theory is spot on. Anyhow I am also a losing player. Tough game. If you could address this dichotomy would appreciate it. Thx.

for me lacking money for a good part of my playing days a lot of my conclusions come from casual observation..from that I feel there's an edge to be had with what I do with the harness racing..but putting the whole thing together with bank, money management not to mention time is something that's not realistic for me to do..I believe what I do with harness racing is +EV but that's my opinion and no records..I believe there's an edge
... we're talking meadowlands and possibly woodbine (mile,7/8 tracks)

    August 1, 2019 ----- HORSE TRADER

Just got back from Foxwoods Casino after a 5 day stay so couldn't share until now.
After this race the owner/trainer was offered $120K for this horse and turned it down.
This horse is very, very special!!!

Hey JBEX. Going to track your harness action. Twice a week is not too labor intensive. For the long haul. See if you really have an edge with your methodology. For if you do may start tailing. GL. $2 w/p on each pony. Meadowlands and Woodbine only.

Looks like the Meadowlands is dark for next 2 months. So Woodbine Mohawk only game in town.

not sure about woodbine/mohawk..if there's regularly less than $15k in the win pool not gonna bother.. other issue is the usual,12-1's and above often go off 30-1 or higher and 3-1's often go off odds-on.. playing in advance no way to know.. not that the biggies can't hit but they're not gonna come first or 2nd over 90% of the time... go ahead if you want

OK sounds good. Yeah will drop a note down that since playing in Advance not definitive that you would play it this way if playing in real time. Entertainment purposes only. Give us a chance to see if your angle is productive at least in posting early. Think you will hold your own. + even a horse of another color. GL.

hey easy ... i'd like to make my first graded thread of a mile harness track be with the meadowlands which i'm familiar with..like to give yonkers a whirl while bigm is idle..they run 5 days a week though so not sure if you'd want to grade..think i'm just going to stick to yonkers for a while anyway

“He just loves to be on the track. I’ve never actually had a horse that was so much like that,” said owner Dr. David Grant of Simcoe, ON. “His barn manners aren’t maybe the best, he’s a bit of a twerp, but as soon as he gets on the track he’s perfect. We’re very lucky to have a colt like that.”

I ask you, are not The Greatest always a little bit skrewy???

We will find out because Horse Trader, at 3-1 odds, has to come out of the # 7 post and will be tested against # 6 Port Perry the favorite at 2-1, and against # 3 Blue Cupertino at 5/2 odds.

Horse Trader has a "big motor and a late kick".

Will post my plays and results so stand by...
