Hit The Pick 6 For The Breeders Cup!

It was only for 50 cents offshore, but still a really nice hit! The $2 p6 paid $47,516. My tickets were posted elsewhere if there is any doubt.

Nice hit, I am always scared off playing those big pick'ems off shore...its nice that you can play if for cheaper, but a lot of those off-shore sites have a bunch of restrictions on payouts

I'm not worried about getting paid. Max payout I think is 25k for Santa Anita. I actually played 4 25 cent pick 6's. Two of them hit. I spent 2,100 though between the 4 tickets.

Thanks STR! Thinking it may be tied or the biggest horse win ever for me. I will always remember this. I almost fell out my my chair at the end since I didn't have WTC on any. I didn't even want to look at the will pays before the race.

NICE HIT ROB. I'M STILL CHASING MY PICK 6 DREAM. I WAS ACTUALLY CLOSE YESTERDAY CONSIDERING HOW MAY HORSES THERE WERE. MISS THE FIRST TWO LEGS, BUT HIT THE LAST 4. (DONT HAVE AN OFFSHORE ACCOUNT ANYMORE AND MY LOCALS DON'T OFFER THEM.) SO I HAVE TO DO IT THE HARD WAY. BUT ONE DAY, I WILL POST MY WINNING TICKET.

I use Wagerweb as I always do for my pick 4 tickets. Almost all of my horse play is pick 4's. I've been making a few pick 6 tickets every now and then once I realized I could make smaller denomination bets. I remember starting a thread here about it seeing if that gives the player some advantage. Now if there was a $2 minimum bet for the pick 6 I wouldn't play it with only a 25k max payout. I've never had any issues cashing out with them. The last big horse wager I hit was with them. It was about 5 years ago and hit a $1 pick 4 at Santa Anita for about $12k. Things were easier to get out though with bank wires as an option.

The funny thing about my win was I probably wouldn't even have played a pick 6 ticket if it wasn't for a contest I participated in and gave my input.

Oh it happened. Whether or not I came here or not before the sequence, whether or not I posted the plays before the sequence, which I did at another place or whether or not anyone believes me doesn't change my life whatsoever.

I'm not trying to get anyones respect rather sharing the excitement I felt and still feel.

    Nice hit rob!!

The fact that you had thousands on the .25 tickets explains why I don't play the pick 6s. Just imagine the same tickets @ $2, which is what we would have to play

    congrats

    Bet Amount: USD 450

I still can't figure out on the third ticket if I puposely left out Mizdirection on purpose or I f'd up.

If I'm playing mutual pools there is no way I'm playing the pick six with my normal bank roll. I've played a few times but it is painful to play. I'd rather play picks 4's. About 90% of my horse action is strictly pick 4's.

Today I hit the Aqueduct Pick 6, but took a loss. The $2 p6 paid about $150. I don't think it has ever been lower. I had a good opportunity in the 7th with a 35-1 losing by a whisker.

I hit the pick 5 at Hollywood for $2,500 so that made thing s better. Paid $2,500.

One favorite away from nailing the pick 6 at Hollywood Park yesterday. It was a 10 cent ticket and I would have got over $7,500. It paid over $175k for a $2 bet at the track.

    Ticket Number:
    Hollywood Park
    Race #6 - Dec, 22
    Pick 6 (10, 13 / 2, 8, 9 / 2, 6, 8 / 4, 6, 8 / 2, 9, 11 / 1, 2, 5, 11)
    Bet Amount: USD 64.8

Great handicap. I am always interested in seeing other people picks so that I can compare. Would you be interested in sharing your picks? If not, I understand. Anyways, great job.

Hi Mr. G&T, yes I don't mind at all. The only issue is I'm inconsistent as to when I'm hunkered down to strictly bet horses. There are a lot of variables with me such as time and bankroll. I'm not a high roller by far and make an average $200-$400 deposit. If I get a nice kick start via sports/casino action that is when I become aggressive.

With the Breeders Cup I had a really large bank roll. I really didn't think I had a chance though. With this last Hollywood ticket it was playing reserved. I actually was betting earlier in the day with full forces on pick 4's, but basically exhausted my resources. I can't say though that if I had more money I would have added that horse though.

I'll surely let you know when I get aggressive again. The days of $25 cent pick 6 tickets for over 1k are way past me. When I speak of aggressive, it is just adding every horse that my resources predict. Usually between $20 some to $400 tops on pick 4 tickets. I rarely throw pick 6's out there, but do.

Are you the guy who is chasing the pick 6? If not, what do you usually play? How often?

thanks in advance for posting. Yes, I am the fool who is still chasing my Pick 6 dream. But it was my goal early on in my racing life so....

I am a horse racing addict, I guess I can call it that because I like to play everything. The only discipline that I do have is I stick with one or two tracks. And hopefully, by limiting to only a couple of tracks, I will hit the Pick 6 (just like the show LUCK). Anyways, I just like to see what other peoples' picks are and compare to mine. I wish I see more input to my thread. But it is what it is.... GL to ya.
