I came in 38th place in the qualifying event in March thanks to the help of several SBR members, which allowed me to participate in the Championship on Saturday. I would appreciate any thoughts/insight that you are able to share.
Rules:
The contest consists of Win and Place wagering on fifteen (15) races. Win/Place wagers must be placed on a single horse on each of the fifteen (15) races. Each player will have a fictional bankroll of $60 in his/her account and must place fifteen (15) fictional $2 Win wagers and fifteen (15) fictional $2 Place wagers for a total of thirty (30) wagers totaling sixty dollars($60). Win/Place wagers must be placed on a single horse in each of the 15 races. There will be eight (8) mandatory races in the contest and players must wager on those races. The players must choose seven (7) races from the list of eligible tracks in which to place their remaining bets (Optional Races). The optional races must differ from the mandatory races.
Mandatory Races:
– Saratoga: Race 4 Maiden Special Weight (1 & 1/16 Miles - Turf) – 1:31 p.m.
– Monmouth Park: Race 5 Claiming (6 Furlongs) – 1:50 p.m.
– Arlington Park: Race 5 Claiming (7 Furlongs) – 3:02 p.m.
– Saratoga: Race 8 Allowance (1 Mile-Turf) – 3:39 p.m.
– Saratoga: Race 9 Auntie Mame S. (1 & 1/16 Miles - Turf) – 4:12 p.m.
– Monmouth Park: Race 10 Allowance Optional Claiming (1 Mile - Turf) – 4:27 p.m.
– Del Mar: Race 3 Claiming (1 Mile) – 5:09 p.m.
– Del Mar: Race 5 Claiming (1 & 1/16 Miles - Turf) – 6:10 p.m.
Optional Races:
Players select any seven (7) races, not already chosen as mandatory races, from any of the four (4) tracks from the following list to play as their optional races: Saratoga, Del Mar, Arlington Park, and Monmouth Park.
