    8/15/12 Del Mar pick 5 362K carryover

Anybody feel like discussing race 2 and 4?

22 (or more) horses go off in just those two races, with very little info on them. I'm assuming you have DRF form if you're looking at these races, but can attach PP's if you want.

    Thanks in advance

If you can attach the PPs , I would like to see those races, if time allows.

used to but for now, I feel like I am trying to fly the friggin space shuttle.

LOL yeah I dont look at the comments , I mainly look at the run lines and times and for FTS the dam stats there toward the top right.

I think you're gonna have to go deep in them and then use the Baffert 1st time turfer and Shining Cooper in the 4th on a back up ticket. The 2nd became next to impossible with the scratch of the Mullins firster which leaves the 0 for 19 Silver Luna as the fave and Brice Blanc on the 2nd choice. Those 2 are certainly beatable and I probably won't even use Silver Luna at all.Thinking Country Soul(12-1),She Can Roar(15-1),and Easy El(12-1) are the ones to use along with the B Blanc on 1 or 2.In the 4th I'm thinking of just using the 5 firsters instead of trying to guess which one can run.Really liked My Gal Candy in the 5th but scratched which leaves the 4 looking like a single unless Demure Halo can run back to last year.

    Here is the caveman ticket

    R1----1,2
    R2----2,5,9,10
    R3----1,3,5
    R4----1,2,3,4,8,9,10
    R5----4

    $84

    or

    R1----1,2
    R2----2,5,9,10
    R3----1,3,5
    R4----3,4
    R5----3,4

    $48

Payout for pick 5 not a whole lot. Last week with the heatwave the speed horses were stuck in the Del Mar wax. Today it's much cooler and cloudy. Hard to catch a horse that enters the stretch first today.

We had the 3 horse in the 4th leg and lost in the stretch.
All in the 5th, we were in line to win.
    $180 ticket 4 of us.
Saw the payout and didn't feel too bad for not hitting the 3m purse that carved up.
If we would have hit the 3 horse in the 4th, would've split a $400 ticket 4 ways.
    Not too awesome.

Off to Vegas for the bash.
