My buddy went a racetrack in KY tonight, he bet $20 on a place to show at like 3.8 - 1, the horse showed. He went to the teller to cash in his ticket, the guy goes "Here you go sir, $798.40". My buddy's friend is like "COOL MAN" and the guy realizes it, he looks at the ticket again, and says "I'm sorry we made a mistake, $1884.80 is your payout. Gets 1,000 in 100s and asks the teller next to him for the last $800.00. The teller pay my buddy, all $1884.80 is in my buddy's hand and as he turns around the second teller realizes it was a mistake. He hollers at my buddy Hey, hey, and my buddy turns around and gets rewarded the correct amount of $75.40. What should he have done? Run? Told them to fu** off for not honoring bets? Could he have done anything to keep the $1800?
