    Bangor Downs

Can it get anymore depressing? This is the first time I watched races here and it takes the cake.

Excuse me it is Bangor Raceway. Thought I would get it in before someone corrected me.

It couldn't be any darker out and the lights aren't on. They do have lights.

CD and Mont aren't anything to brag about, but they have have a lot bigger handle and the racetracks don't look like they are racing on the dead sea.

chester is like the twilight zone of harness racing:
    top drivers-huge purses-nice facility
    no handle-no crowd.
    *cue the TZ theme music......

going to the harness races is like going to a cemetary at night. a bunch of half asleep drivers putting their horses through a work mile in a pari-mutual race. they don't care most of the time if they win or not. you can't push your horse 40 times a year, so they only try about once a month for the most part.
