yes, i just handicap Belmont each night - maybe 30 minutes. i used to go much deeper, but i dont have time since i cap sports as well.

Saratoga i will go a little deeper with my analysis. i check everything from Beyers last 3, workouts, drop in class, Jockey/Trainer stats on that surface (dirt vs turf), post position and then i read up on the horses pedigree for that races distance.

They move in one stall.They hold up the race to fix the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 numbers that are on the top of the starting gate.They don't ever leave a gap.I think there are some rare exceptions where they move everyone out 1 spot like in the Kentucky Derby because of the 1 post starting inside the rail but its very rare and that might be the only exception because of the weird configuration at Churchill for a 20 horse starting gate
