The criteria is bias-based/opinion-based. I think what we are starting to find out (or hoping to continue to find out) is, tho, that playing 'dogs in hockey is the way to win. I mean, Look at the picks so far, and even more so now that Sparty is posting his as well; I think you start to realize that these win regardless.
Take last night for example. I didn't really feel confident in any of the 4 games last night, but played the Red Wings at a square -110 a side bc they were the best team of the underdogs. And what happened? Boston won. Phoenix won. Toronto won. My "safe" play lost. but the idea itself was 3 of 4. Ha, Im a bad gambler. But i think I may have unearthed something here.
There is also the 2 system thread I started shortly after.

s2 (as sparty pointed out) isnt really profitable, based on his research it breaks about even. System 1 was born in this thread while trying to decide which teams to play, or picked-from-a-hat or whatever you say. ha.
If this continues to go well, it will become my game. **along with those other must-play events, of course.
