Check out 5Dimes - they have dropdowns for a lot of games which adjust the totals by a goal or two.

Seriously, Why would you want to do this?

Do you have a capping technique that tells you at anything better than a coin flip whether a particular NHL game will total will be ODD or EVEN? Just curious...

Dont you think that would be reflected in the odds?

I mean, they're not going to give you -110 if games land on ODD way more than EVEN...and now you're back to flipping coins...

The odds are -220 at Bet365 for the game to land on ODD>.....even with those odds, if you were to bet ALL games ODD so far this year, you would be UP OVER 55 units.......but of course they don't accepts USA players....so help is needed on finding a book that offers this for USA players...thanks

jolm, take a look at the greek tomorrow. They very well could have this bet under their hockey props. Not a sure thing, but they usually have several props per game so it would not at all surprise me if they have this one as well.....

I bet alot of NHL totals and this type of prop never entered my mind,i just learned something, odd is up 55 units that is for it to fall on 1-3-5-7-9 etc, hard to believe since 4-5-6 are so prevelant, but i do believe you and while its hard to argue with +55 units, laying -220 day in day out is not my style.

When i have time i will verify this +55unit odd vs even prop for the hell of it.

Anyways chances are even if you do find a place thats takes that bet it will be for a very low limit.

BOL finding an out for your prop.

Any way I could still make that profitable??

Not sure if Bwin accepts American customers, but they have -222 odd.

This response is wrong in every possible way

If you do not know how often you need to win at -220 how can you possibly conclude that this will be profitable???

Are you really basing this off of a 1 season game sample? Did you take the closing "totals" and the "ML" into consideration when you backtested this season?

I hope you realize that the likelihood of a game landing on an odd or even number is greatly influenced by both the projected amount of goals scored in each game and by the projected winning margin of the favorite. This means that games with a 6 point total and a -200 favorite are more likely to land on an even number than a game with a 5 point total and a -115 favorite. Because of this you can not look at your data as a whole it needs to be broken down by closing total and closing ML.

My database returns 69.19% odd from 05-09 a sample of 6,575 games not taking ML or total into consideration. As you can see my # differs greatly from Fjardo's this is why it is important to have a larger sample to test.

I bet at a few UK books that have this, Bet365, StanJames.com... but I never play it. There is no value at -240 and beyond. if we could find some -200 then we'd be talkin'.

As for US books that carry it, would it be at bodog? Why do i think I've seen it there before? lol

    I'll check later today.

At Parlaymakers now you can contact our live chat and we will put up any prop odds you find on bet365 for you and we accept US players.

So find what you want on bet365 or some other place then contact our live chat and we will post the line in a few minutes and you make your wager. If you do it often enough I will start putting them up all the time.
