    Fleischmann

Man I can't believe the Caps traded this guy for Scott Hannan This guy has always been a solid goal scorer behind the big three in DC, now without him the Caps can't score worth shit.

    Since the trade:

    Fleischmann

    7 Games
    5 Goals
    5 Assists
    10 Points
    +1

    Hannan

    7 Games
    0 Goals
    0 Assists
    0 Points
    -8

he gets the hatty tonight too. They did the trade because they need shutdown defense guys. I'm not sure Hannan is the answer to their woes though.

They did him a favour by trading him. He was a top 6 caliber guy playing 3rd and 4th line minutes on that stacked Capitals team.

That's true but they should be in it to win it not to be nice to people. It's all about depth up front in the playoffs as proven by the Hawks top three lines last year, same with Philly.

Until the caps get better defense, they wont win anything. Green pretty much costed them the playoffs last year with his awful defense. They should trade Semin for a really good defensemen.

As an Avs fan, I was skeptical about the trade when it was first announced. But boy Fleischmann has been a perfect fit in the Avs offensive system and has awesome chemistry with Duchene.

Just to think, if the Avs were fully healthy, they'd have the best scoring depth in the league. Their already the highest scoring team in the league and Mueller hasn't even played a game yet and Stewart their leading goal scorer is out.
    Mueller-Stastny-Stewart
    Fleischmann-Duchene-Hejduk
    Galiardi-O'Reilly-Jones
    Porter-Winnik-Mauldin
