    Philadelphia Flyers at Montreal Canadiens

    52 MON / 51 PHI Under 5.5

The Flyers have seen the total go "under" the number in 10 of 18 overall (including in 6 of 7 on the road); last night they crushed Ottawa 5-1; suffice to say I'm expecting an offensive letdown tonight as this team concludes the second game of a back to back and a Canadian road swing.

On the other side of the rink: the Habs have seen the total go "under" the number in 12 of 17 to start the year (in 4 of 8 at the Bell Center); last time out Montreal smoked Carolina 7-2.

Significant to note here that Montreal has in fact also seen the total go "under" the number in 14 of 21 after a 3-game unbeaten streak over the last 2-seasons; also in 25 of 38 when playing with 2-days of rest.

Bottom line: Both teams are on fire; both starting goaltenders are on fire; no need to overanalyze this contest; when taking into account all of the above situational factors, and couple them with the strong "under" trends each exhibits in this spot, it does indeed all add up on the UNDER!
