I thought I would post some of my picks in here. It's more of a easier way for me to keep track of how I'm doing. Feel free to tail me or ignore me. I'll be betting in small amounts so I wont bother posting the amount of my bets. I'll simply post the odds along with the lines (from bet365) and my pick.

I don't use any type of system. I just use facts, trends, stats, and my over 20 years of hockey knowledge.

In this thread I will specialize in team totals and picks. I don't usually do period total's, may from time to time. I rarely also go for the 1.5 scenarios. You will notice a lot of my picks when picking a team will mostly be regulation only. There will be times when I will do a regular money line, but for the value play it will mostly be regulation only. This will be shown with the team highlighted in Blue. If it's not in blue than you know it's a regular money play, and not a 3 way money line play.

I'll post some noteworthy facts about the teams in these picks. You can choose if there relevant or not. I find it useful in making my selections. I'll post what is relevant to my picks, but also what may be to yours.

I don't believe in locks, and I have a system where I bet the same amount on every bet. But I'll go ahead and post what I think is the play of the day, just to see how well I do and if it's something I should consider betting more on in the future.

Agree on WSH and VAN. Super value being with VAN but I wouldn't trust them on the road with important coin at this point. CAR and EDM too much of a tossup for me. Where did you find your lines for WSH and VAN? Good luck.

Well not a great night. Went 2-2 in team picks as well as 2-2 in Team totals. I will have to re-evaluate my selection for regulation only plays. the ML was already generous for the Preds and I got greedy and went for Regulation only. So instead of being up 5-3 on the night, it's a 4-4 night.

However I still did not lose on the night. 4-4 = a +$1.26. Not much. But it's better than being down.

My POD cashed in easily with the Canucks. That is now 2-1.

Even days are annoying, i agree. I was 3-2 +1.55 units. Did get me into positive units for my official plays Damn 2 unit loss on the Sharks. I am going to try to pass on my marginal plays.

I usually try and go for the value plays. I look for the teams with value that I think can win as opposed to the bigger favorites. But I don't deal in units so I kind of have to look for those value plays. Until I get my BR higher my wagers will be small, and thus I need to look for those value lines.

It's annoying wagering in such small numbers, but hopefully I'll get my BR up to the point where I can deal with going even and still coming away with a nice chunk of change.

Right now though, I have to say I think I am going to stop with my nba bets. It seems like it keeps bringing me down. The NBA seems like crapshoot for me so far, and if it weren't for the nba I would be up, I'm actually down like $60 because of losing in there.

This is the first time I have actually kept track of it. I'm pretty new to the sportsbook scene. Only just joined up at the beginning of the month. I'm no capper, and don't pretend to be. Just a guy who has watched the game for a very long time. Like I said I don't run any type of system, I don't cap games. I make predictions based on my knowledge of the game, stats and trends available and just my gut instinct.
