Just a little stat so far this season on the under/over

    After 178 games so far.

80 games have gone over 5.5.
    98 have gone under 5.5.

It's not as big as a difference as I thought it would be.

    Over 44%
    Under 56%

Just thought it was cool to check up on these stats and share after all the games tonight went under.

Interesting. Last year if I recollect correctly, it was exactly the opposite during the first few weeks of the season.

Yesterday while capping the games, I noticed the head to head matchups on SBR.
Looking at the O/U's I bet the most % of the two teams and won 4 of 5 80%.

Don't know what the long term trend is. Will try again tonight.

Under has a huge start to the year but lately more and more overs are cashing, I think 2 days ago, over went something like 7-2? If someone can correct me...

I've been playing the NHL Prop, choosing the under for the grand salami, and I've been hitting it almost every time. Only loss lately was 2 nights ago. It's definitely interesting. I'm gonna keep hammering that under grand salami till I start seriously losing. My logic is basically that, even if there are games that go over, a few really low scoring games we'll still give you the win. Gotta love 1-0 wins!

Keep tracking that grand salami stat. I never play it, but I'm always curious what the line is. As for the over under, I wouldn't be surprised if the under results in more profit in the long run. The juice alone from the lines will kill most profits. But I had a friend that once told me that the public has a tendency to bet the over because most bettors want to see an exciting game, and vice versa: most people don't want to bet for a low scoring game.

The Salami 11-16-1 o/u this year. 4 of the last 5 have stayed under. Last year including playoffs it was 93-100-3

Ahh I see. Thanks. Is anyone able to confirm whether the under is always (or primarily) at +odds? Hitting +money lines at a clip of 100-93 is not the best, but it's definitely a profit.
