Buffalo vs Ottawa Oct. 8th 2010

This is my first thread on here, so wish me luck!

I'm dropping 1 unit on the Sens here at -130.

    taken from wageronhockey.com

The total has gone OVER in 8 of Ottawa's last 9 games
Ottawa is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Ottawa's last 5 games at home
Ottawa is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games at home
The total has gone OVER in 6 of Ottawa's last 8 games when playing Buffalo
Ottawa is 9-1 SU in its last 10 games when playing Buffalo
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Ottawa's last 5 games when playing at home against Buffalo
Ottawa is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games when playing at home against Buffalo

Now preseason is preseason so take that as you will, but since Ottawa's cup run they have absolutely dominated the Sabres. At home, at -130, I'll make a single unit wager on the Sens to take it to the Sabres. I dont like wagering on the over under in the first couple games because of nerves and such, but obviously the trends point towards the over. Ottawa certainly knows how to score on Miller. I wouldn't be shocked if this goes to overtime 3-3 either, but I'd still say Ottawa is in good shape to win in regulation.

Spezza is day to day for the sens and may or may not be in tomorrow night as of now.

Same goes for Vanek and Rivet for the Sabres as far as I know.

$130 to win $100 on the Sens. (OT inc.)
