Will the NHL and NHLPA end up fighting it out?

Today is decission day on Ko-V. If the NHL rejects this deal and tries to mess with the deals that Savard, Luongo etc. signed then they are shooting themselves in the foot and will be in for a long and nasty fight.

Yeah this really is getting ridiculous. Since these contracts were completed a long time ago they really should have no right to go and void them now. It's like buying a new car then a year later saying "Actually I don't want this anymore, here you go." They need to enforce the rules on all future contracts but should have no legal recourse to touch these ones.

    Let me one up you.

It is more like buying a car from a dealer and then after a year the bank calls you and says hey we're taking the car from you because you actaully didn't qualify for the loan we gave you.

Now hand in the keys sukka!!!

    Dennis,

Sides have come to an agreement. No strike or Lockout (which is what happend the last time.)

NHL were smart not to play games.
