3 team Parlay whats your thoughts?

    I'm taking

    Carolina +120
    Thrashers +195
    Sacramento Kings -4 -110

    $30 for $342

I believe Carolina is a steal today against a slumbing Ottawa as of recent. Florida has to lose eventually and I'm saying its today against a division foe. Toronto has been horrible on their NBA road trip, and Sacramento is hard to beat at home.

    Good Luck to everyone today

I like your two hockey bets and the value, but I wouldn't take the Kings. Either play a safer M.L. with a little value, such as Detroit, or look to exploit a total. There's a good chance the Kings will ruin your parlay and you'll be sick if the two valuable hockey plays hit only see to the favorite choke.

Here's a real quick parlay I threw together: Columbus and Carolina to win without OT included. $30 wins $264. There are loads of ways you can do it, but I wouldn't go overboard. Two-teamers with value are the most profitable parlays you can do.

I've just gotten into sports betting. What happens on a 3 way line without OT? Is it a push if it goes to OT or do you just lose the bet?

Nvm I saw you can bet a draw, I don't see how I missed that before

How about this? I think this is what I'll do and just stick to the NHL on this one

    Carolina +120
    Atlanta +195
    San Jose -160 in regulation

    $30 pays $286

You're pushing a little. While I don't think San Jose loses, it's the NHL; there's always a chance. It's not like the NFL.

I do like your bet, but personally would trim off one of the teams and set your sights a little lower. It's almost as if you're chasing losses, which is the worst thing you can do. Be happy with a lesser win, because a win is STILL a win -- much better than a loss.

One last piece of advice: Strongly look into handicapped games and NHL totals. Totals are weak and generally always sit at 5.5, which you can exploit with teams you know will sail over or stay way under. And picking teams to win by 2+ goals is generally pretty easy; I cashed a Montreal and San Jose two-teamer last night which jumped out at me the minute I saw the night's schedule.

Handicapped NHL matches give good + odds, no matter the matchups. Get the NHL's worst against the NHL's best to lose by two or more goals and the return should still be +115 or better.

Why don't you try SJS -1.5 plus one of your dog plays (Carolina/Atlanta). That'd pay out nice and has a great shot at cashing if the Blackhawks/Thrashers can come through.

Alright you're right maybe a 3 teamer for a newbie is pushing it.

So we'll break it down into this

    Parlay 1
    Carolina +120
    Flames -115

I like Calgary with crawford in goal for the hawks

    $30 for $93

    Parlay 2
    Pens -1.5 +170
    Thrashers +195

    $30 Pays $209

I wouldn't say Ottawa is slumping. They won 3 in a row - one game won by 2 goals, and the rest by 3.

Numero uno looking real good, man. Like I said, two-teamers are great. Don't ever put yourself in a position to rely on three teams cashing for you.

My Carolina and Columbus two-teamer is looking real nice and has great value.

Yep, both of ours are looking good.

I just need Atlanta to come back. Down 1-0 but still 1st period so plenty of time

Nice going, man. Carolina, Calgary and Columbus crushed it!

I still can't believe Carolina was +115 at home against the Sens. Not that I'm complaining, but what value.

Looking at SJS -1.5 and O5.5 for the late game.
