    Slew, you make a great point. I used to watch a lot of NHL hockey. Most valuable players (IMHO) are the great two-way players. Guys who have an offensive punch but also gain the puck and are in good position defensively.

    I'll stick w/ just forwards for now. Some names that come to mind:
    *Peter Forsberg. One of my favorites. Great skill but also liked to hit.
    *Henrik Zetterburg. Good skill. But awesome on Penalty Kill with amazing endurance.
    *Jere Lehtinen. Always a great +/- player.
