As for one gold over 50 years, thats not big news, since this is only the 4th Olympics where NHL players have been allowed to play.

Agreed it's not big news, it's just that I don't see how anyone can objectively say Canada is the best hockey nation in the world. Canada played 3 Olympics with NHL players, they won 1. I don't see the clear domination of Canada nowadays..
But hey, let's agree to disagree, it's late here I'm too tired to debate!
