The key to this game was the injury report, and I waited until it was out.
Kuznetsov has been upgraded to probable, Caps line has moved a bit but I think they are undervalued, it will keep moving until game time...
Take a look at the stats:
Vegas on the road this year has been much worse than at home
Vegas goal differential overall this year is +0.7 vs +0 on the road, yet they had a 28-21 road record? Means they won every possible 1 goal game and got lucky, this team is all luck. Too bad for them the luck is about to run out.
Caps at home this year are +0.7 differential
Add this to the fact that Fluery is clearly rattled, 2 straight games with sub .900 save percentages and this could be meltdown city. Anyone that has watched Fluery in the past knows he is an emotional wreck, and when things dont go his way he can implode (see Pit/Phi series a few years ago).
I can imagine already the Caps fans screaming Fluerys name early and often in this game, taunting him, getting in his head. Thats the home ice factor in this game and its worth much more than -131 IMO
