All the more reason for the preds to win it.

I like Nashville, even with the loss of Johansen. Rinne is playing the best hockey of his career, and the Preds just seem to have "it" this year.

For now I'm on the under 5 1/2
    How are they better?
They have the best 3 forwards in the playoffs

If Ottawa can take them to the brink why not Nashville?

They are similar to Ottawa but better even with Johansen out

Penguins more firepower but Nashville has a great group of defensemen

I do. I'm a little concerned about the exact game outcome lines. Maybe the pens will finally wear out. Book's seem to like the predators a little. I just can't see Crosby losing

I took them towards the end of April at +475.
Also added a little more right before their series with the Ducklings.

I find it interesting that people keep referring back to Rinne. He has been good the second half of the season and throughout the playoffs....but Pittsburgh isn't rolling some chump out there. Murray is an excellent goalie in his own regard, and if I could choose either of them to be my goalie in a seven game series this year...I would choose Murray hands down.

Pittsburgh's advantage at C will likely overcome Nashville's advantage on defence. I won't bet the series or Game 1....sides or totals. Just too tough to predict what will happen with these two opposing not styles until I see it with my own two eyes.

Anybody who thinks the Pens will have this series wrapped up easily is terribly mistaken. Nashville has everything going for them right now and the Pens just came off of back to back 7 game series. And now they have to endure the physicality of Nashville. This series is up for grabs folks

I'm actually laying off game 1 but will be watching closely.

The money line on Pitt is steep (-167) and I feel like Ottawa wasn't that great. Nashville has this weird destiny feel to them and as a Flyers fan I know how Lavvy can coach a team up.

    NO ACTION.

The Preds are 2-8 in last 10 against Pittsburgh and 1-4 in last 5 at Pittsburgh...

In sports they're just some teams you don't bet against when there home....The Penguins are one of those teams...jmo....

If the ML is to high for you take Pitts -1 at +107...

Yeah but lavvy lost with us. He got lucky to beat the oilers with the canes and he did nothing with the isles.

I think Nashville +150 is terrific value on the series line.

Injuries (Johansen's out; Fisher's banged up) are the primary drawback, but Pekke Rinne's been magical.

And UN's whenever the game lines are 5.5, like tonight.

Johansen out, plus a generally thin forwards roster, means Nashville's offense will be degraded, and w/ Rinne doing his Superman thing on the other end....

Preds are 3-0 on the road in game 1 this playoffs. No bet tonight but if I did it'd be Preds and the Under. This series prolly sees 7 games.

    True.

Nashville hasn't lost a game 1 though and Rinne is on fire.

Going to sit back and analyze.
