    My lines vs Book lines

I make up my lines mechanically, no emotion or injury involved just purely math based. And I flat bet the entire board. Last night I went 5-1 in the NBA, 8-0 in the NHL and the past few days in the NBA and NHL is the record 46-16-1 Here are my lines and what I played today. I will post a seperate thread in the NBA section for my NBA plays.

Buffalo my line -1 PLAYED Buffalo ML -135
Carolina my line PK, PLAYED Carolina +1.5 -230
Washington my line -3, PLAYED ML -225
    Montreal my line -1, PLAYED +1.5 -270
Detroit my line PK, PLAYED Detroit +1.5-290
Dallas my line -1, PLAYED ML -115
Vancouver my line -1, PLAYED Vancouver ML -210

When you get these lines, do you round a decimal point? Just curious.

I flat bet the board so my risk on every game is the same, my payout varies by the line. The record for the past since Jan 23 in NHL is 24-5. I have been backtesting this system for a bit and will post results when I have a good size sample.(at least 5 years of results) So far it looks very promising. I do round up the decimals, for example my line on Dallas is -0.678 so I round it to -1

Nice night. Question: how do you decide between playing a ML or PL? I see you have teams favored -1 but use ML for some and PL for others. Oh, and I kinda went through my picks using your idea. My results:

WSH-2 ('Nother question: you had them -3; why no PL-1.5?)
    Mtl-Pk
    Car-Pk
    BUF-1
    MIN-1
    DAL-2
    VAN-1

    Interesting method; continued success.

Zandyman, I play the favorites on the moneylines and the dogs on the puckline. It keeps the winning percentage higher which is better for flat betting. Going 5-2 with regular betting ie risk -135 to win 100 I would be down 0.60 of a unit but flat betting I was up 0.9659 of a unit for the night. I will always take a winning night over a losing night, no matter how small

    For tonight I have:

Columbus my line PK, I played Columbus +1.5 -300
Carolina my line -2, I played Carolina ML -130
Ottawa my line PK, I played Ottawa +1.5-220
Philadelphia my line -1, I played Philadelphia ML -200
Phoenix my line -1, I played Phoenix ML -140
Colorado my line -2, I played Colorado ML -165
St. Louis my line -2, I played St. Louis ML -130
San Jose my line -2, I played San Jose ML -125
